Pro Tip: Making your Bump Sesh Extra Special
Pregnancy is such a sweet and special time in a woman’s life.
Oftentimes we miss our baby bumps once they’re gone, we miss the feeling of knowing where our babies were all the time, the feeling that we could protect them. Keep them safe. No matter what. Once baby is born, a whole separate set of feeling emerge. Equally as beautiful, & motherhood beings.
I LOVE everything about maternity sessions. The bumps. The feelings. The glow. The excitement.
+ I’m here to help you make yours extra special!
1. The first thing I recommend doing is finding your dress!
You know best what you feel good in. But I can tell you what looks best on camera..
LONG dresses! Flowy or form fitting are both gorgeous. & really your preference!
Light colored dresses will keep your images looking soft, delicate, and airy!
Some of my favorite dresses have been from:
& an Arizona Local Shop, Wren & Ivory
2. After you’ve found your dress I highly recommend finding an adorable accent piece, like a floral crown or fresh bouquet of flowers (like babies breath, awww!) to add some elegance into your photo’s!
You can purchase a floral crown on etsy, make your own, or get one freshly made from a florist!
You can find my fav floral crown etsy shop here
A quick DIY here
& an amazing local florist to Arizona, Array Design here
3. Glam it up, girl!!!
Maternity sessions are the PERFECT time to go all in and feel SO gorgeous! So I highly recommend getting your hair and make up done, professionally.
It’s the perfect time to relax, and be pampered!
My girl over at Lindsey O’Malley Makeup is AMAZING, she will have you feeling glam in no time!
Branded by Bree will have your locks so pretty you’ll wish you could bring her home with you!
So go get your mani + pedi done, book your hair and makeup & have a day of pampering!
Bonus points to your hubby if he schedules a romantic dinner out after photo’s, to show off his glammin’ hot wife! *hint hint*
Can’t wait to see you for your bump sesh!!
