Meet the Modern Day Midwives!

These women are the Midwives behind Modern Day Midwife. They exist to support empowered births, prenatal, and post-partum care. They also provide routine, well woman care with an evidence based approach.

It was so fun to capture all their personalities, and how much fun they genuinely have together! You can just tell how well they work as a team, and hearing their ideas, and passion for what they do was so inspiring.

Midwifery care, although not a new concept, has recently taken hold again in Arizona. Women are now seeking, and demanding evidence based, supportive, empowering prenatal and birth experiences. I don’t think there’s ever been a more exciting time to be an expecting mother. While guiding their patient’s preconception- motherhood and beyond, they focus on the importance of truly listening to women, encouraging them to trust in their bodies, and providing them with information on how to have the birth’s, and care that they desire.

These women, although fierce advocators for their patient’s and women’s health overall, still know how to have fun! They were an absolute dream to work with, and so fun to photograph!
