A Quaint Desert Wedding | The Sandriks | Arizona Wedding Photographer

Dana met Ryan while playing for their work-place softball team. You know, the ones that management is always trying to get you to sign up for? I went to high school with Dana, and I can attest to the fact that she is an actual, talented athlete, so I can imagine some friendly competition sparked some of their interest in one another!

I feel like that’s a love story from a movie, amiright!?

They decided to have their wedding at their home in the Arizona Desert!

Quaint, at home weddings, might be my new favorite thing.

But can you blame me with a bride and groom that are as cute as these two?!

This sweet Peoria, Arizona wedding was nothing short of dreamy.

Dana was so laid back, getting ready with her sisters, her mom, and her BFF! They really set the vibe for the day being easy going, fun, and full of love!

There were the sweetest little details to finish off her bridal look, like her vintage blue earrings, her gorgeous pearl bracelet, and elegant necklace.

Dana chose the most gorgeous wedding dress, it fit her like a glove, and she looked absolutely stunning.

Ryan got ready at his parent’s house, but put on the finishing touches at home, as Dana was hidden away to wait for the ceremony!

His mother had the honor of pinning his boutonnière, and while she held it together most of the day, she shed a few happy tears as she readied her son to be married.

Just before it was time to walk down the aisle to her future husband, Dana took a few moments to read her vows over, and peek out the window at all their family and friends, gathered and awaiting her arrival.

Dana was preceded down the aisle by the cutest bunch of nieces and nephews, holding hand made signs that announced Dana’s arrival.

Ryan’s smile when he saw Dana walking down the aisle with her dad by her side was the sweetest! Their ceremony was lead by Dana’s sister, who became ordained for the occasion, and even wrote out the entire ceremony, herself.

Dana and Ryan read their own, hand written vows to one another. They were full of emotion, and happy tears.

They shared their first kiss as husband and wife, walked down the aisle together, with the sweetest, biggest smiles!

We headed to a desert preserve for their Husband and Wife portraits!

This desert location is a spot that Dana and Ryan chose for their portraits, and often hike at, right behind their house.

I envision them remembering their special day where they vowed to love one another, forever, every time they pass by, go for a hike, or maybe one day- spend time with their own little family here.

Arizona Sunset’s are known for being absolutely stunning, and the sunset this night did not disappoint. But truly, Dana stole the show.

She glowed, and even Ryan was spotted staring, with such a sweet look on his face, while I stole her away to do some bridal portraits.

Their entire wedding day was so much fun to be a part of. Genuine love, laughter, and fun was shown by all that attended and I couldn’t have felt more blessed to capture their day!

Dana and Ryan,

Thank you so much for choosing me to document this day for you. I had an absolute blast, and could NOT be happier for you both!
