A Glowing Summer Maternity Session

This glowing summer maternity session gave me all.the.feels.

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kristin and Brendon’s Maternity session when they were pregnant with their first born, surprise gender baby, Everly!

Getting to see that sweet baby bump, as a beautiful little girl, being promoted to big sister, was the cherry on top!

Everly is just the cutest little babe! She was so sweet with her mama, and the mommy and me moments we caught on camera are so heart warming.

Kristin and Brendon are expecting baby number two, another surprise gender baby!

I looooove when couples wait to find out the gender of their baby. Both as a photographer, and a labor nurse. I ALWAYS cry when baby is born, and mama or daddy gets to announce the gender as tears fall, and you witness love at first sight. I truly have the most amazing “job” on the planet, and I’ll never take that for granted.

Kristin was absolutely beautiful in her floral dress.

Arizona blessed us with a gorgeous evening out in the desert.

The wind blew just enough to sweep her hair ever so perfectly. It rustled her dress, creating the most beautiful movement in the photos.

The light was dreamy and added beautiful warmth to Kristin, added to her glow, it was the perfect combination.

Everly did so great at the photo shoot. Photographing toddlers can sometimes be a challenge, but I’ve found I get the sweetest images when we let things unfold naturally.

Having Kristin hold her and talk to her like she does regularly gave Everly the calm she needed. She felt comfortable in her mama’s arms. Playing sweetly with her necklace. Tousling her mama’s hair with her chubby toddler fingers. These are the sweet moments of motherhood.

The one’s where you pause.

Soak it all in.

Just be.

These are always my favorite images of every session that includes motherhood. The moments in-between.

Of course, we always get some fun, loving memories, too. The whole family-smiling, playing, giggling, loving on baby sibling’s bump!

The Ulatowski’s have such a special place in my heart. I love their sweet little family, and I feel so so blessed to have been able to photograph this sweetest season of life, not once, but twice now!

Thank you so much for allowing me to spend some time with you, and document this special season of life. I can not wait to hear if baby two is a boy or girl!

No matter who this little person is, we already know he or she is SO LOVED. Everly is going to soar in her new role as big sister, I just know it. It was so fun photographing some of her final moments as the “baby of the house”- but fear not, as much as you want to stop time and savor this moment forever, your heart will grow and a new love you never knew will form there when you see your two babies together.

This season right now, it is the best. And so is the one to come,
