This River Side Maternity Session was what Soft and Romantic dreams are made of! Melissa wore a gorgeous lace gown from my client closet, and Josh complimented her look with soft neutrals, and a dressed up feel.

Melissa’s gorgeous red hair, and matching lips were the final touches to make this romantic river side maternity session a total smoke-show!

Melissa and Josh are from the same small town back home, but went to the two opposite high school’s… But their paths crossed in College. I don’t know about you, but from meeting them and seeing these images, it’s pretty clear they were meant to be together, and parenting already looks so good on them. The way Josh looked at Melissa, so soft and tender, was totally making me melt. He looked on as I took some photo’s of Melissa alone, and was totally in agreement with me that she was looking like a queen. She was giggling off camera at him and their chemistry just made capturing this whole session so much fun.

When we planned her maternity session, I was thrilled to pick this gorgeous location. I didn’t know I was picking something so meant to be for them, but they told me when we arrived that they are naming their little boy River.

Like for reals!? How totally sweet and amazing is it that their maternity session was on a River for their sweet boy!?

Thank you so much for trusting me to capture such an amazing time in your lives. You two are already such amazing parents to sweet River, and I can not wait to see you navigate new life as mama+daddy and watch you two fall deeper in love as your roles change, and this new season of life begins! It’s so so sweet!
