Towering Saguaros, dreamy light and gorgeous boulders surrounded Carly and Tyler during their Scottsdale, Arizona Desert Maternity session. They both wore a shade of blue, as they are expecting their first baby, a boy- in a few short weeks!

Being pregnant in the Summer in Arizona is no easy feat.. turns out- neither is having your maternity session scheduled right in the middle of Summer Monsoons! These two were so amazing, we first had their sessions schedule a couple of weeks prior to these photo’s. When we arrived on location, everything was sunny and bright. But, as Arizona storms are known for, a HUGE thunderstorm blew in right as we got started taking photo’s! We had to leave in a hurry due to flash flood risk in the area. After a fun drive home, we rescheduled for this perfectly beautiful and sunshine-y day! So thankful we had the time and ability to do these before baby boy makes his appearance!

Tyler and Carly are so cute together. They’ve been married one year (in March), and have been together for 10 years! I love a good love story, and seeing couples turn into families! I am so excited for them as they prepare to welcome their little boy to the world in September!

Their session was extra special for me to photograph, as Carly’s Sister and Sister in Law were both pregnant this year- and I had the honor of photographing ALL THREE of their pregnancies! What a blessing it is to be part of families lives like this! I am truly so thankful!
