Kristi’s Spring Maternity Session in the Arizona Desert, filled with beautiful wild poppies and dreamy light.

For the first part of her Maternity session, Kristi wanted to have pictures with her darling family! She chose a really cute sage green dress, with spring vibes! It looked SO good with the desert tones!

She and her husband Ryan have two boys, and are waiting until birth to find out what baby number three will be! I am so beyond excited for them to experience that amazing surprise! It just makes the birth experience an extra level of so so sweet!

For the second half of the Maternity session, Kristi wanted some really beautiful solo shots. Often, some of my favorites. Highlighting the true beauty that is a mother growing a new life within. Soaking in the beauty around her, and within her. The light was just dripping gold, and she truly looked like a goddess on earth! The way her white dress sparkled with the sunlight filtering through, and her pure mothering beauty- stopping for a few moments in time to just BE. It was perfect.

Between all the snuggles from her sweet boys, each so different, but so loving, the tender moments between her and Ryan as they prepare to welcome baby three, it’s no secret that I absolutely love this session! The connection they all share. When they look back at these images as time goes on, my hope is always that it brings you right back to this moment. The sun on your skin. The kids giggles and snuggles. The joy of anticipation of the newest family member to join. Just so so good!

I am so excited to cheer Kristi on in early summer during her labor and birth, and of course, capture some beautiful, raw, memories of how powerful she is. And those early treasured moments of sweet newborn bliss, too!

Truly enchanting, it’s hard to look away from these images. You embody what the word motherhood means here. Snuggling your boys that you adore so much, soaking in the moments before they become big brother’s. The affectionate way you embrace your beautiful growing bump- radiating life and light around you. You are going to do so amazing in labor and birth- I cannot wait for all that is to come for you and your family, soon! When this sweet little soul enters the world and you create treasured moments as a family of five!
