Have you ever wanted a Studio Vibe for your Motherhood Mommy and Me Photos, but want to stay home? I am going to share a session with you today that shows just that!
When planning a studio vibe, in home Motherhood Session be sure to:
Choose a Photographer That Has a Mobile Studio Set Up. I offer all my clients the ability to choose a studio vibe for their in home session, and I bring the backdrop, any lighting I need, and set it all up, and tear it all down after!
Be Sure Your Home Has Space for the Setup. Depending on the studio setup your photographer has, they can guide you on how much space you will need in your home for them to set up! If your home does not have enough space, ask your photographer if they have a studio option or if you can brainstorm other locations to set up the moveable studio equipment (such as the garage or shaded patio).
Choose outfits that Compliment the Vibe you are going for and Coordinate with the Backdrop Color. If you’ve been reading my blogs or following me for any length of time, you already know I absolutely adore earthy, neutral tones! If you are using a white backdrop, there’s really so many options you can go with! I’ll tell you what to avoid though- for my style of photography, I let my clients know not to choose neon or brightly colored clothes, and opt for softer pastel or jewel toned versions instead. This helps avoid color cast on your skin tones and on the backdrop (pending the backdrop color).
Have Fun. When it’s photoshoot time, that’s the perfect time to let any stress go! Let your little’s be little, have fun with them, and play! The playful, natural, loving photos are always client favorites (and mine too)- and those happen organically by being yourselves, loving one another, and playing together!
I absolutely adore studio vibes, and love the ability to capture these memories in client homes! Making it even easier on families with little’s!
