Papago Park Engagement Session | Dana & Ryan
It was pouring. In Arizona. All day.
If you’re from here, you know what a rare day that is! When I contacted Dana to see if she wanted to reschedule, or just be open to the rain and having fun, she was all for keeping the shoot on schedule!
Dana arrived to Papago Park looking absolutely stunning! Her gold dress had her shining off the gorgeous backdrop of red rocks, and just stealing the show! She had the most beautiful braid in her long, blonde hair, tussled to perfection! Ryan also came dressed to impress, in his suit, and equally fun personality, ready to have a photoshoot in the rain!
When we walked out to location, we were so blessed to have a break in the weather. Though the skies were dark, you wouldn’t know it. These two danced, walked, shared a kiss or two, and had such fun, genuine love to capture! It was time for Dana to change into her second dress, a gorgeous, soft blue, flowy number, that I didn’t think I could love more than the first, but totally gave it a run for its money! The rain returned during dress number 2, but they didn’t let that stop their fun! We had a super cute clear umbrella for the occasion, and they totally rocked it! We got some really romantic, snuggly shots under there, and some flirty ones too!
Dana and Ryan,
Thank you so much for trusting me to capture these amazing memories for you. For trusting me during the storm, and being so easy going, fun, and loving! Your engagement session will forever be one of my favorites. Not just because you two totally killed it. But because of your love. The fun. The effortlessness of it. I feel honored to have had a peek inside of your lives! & I wish you all the best!
