An Arizona Engagement Session

He proposed to her here.

But without the ring.

Sounds crazy, right?! But hear me out.

When I asked ,”Where do you want to have your engagement session at?!”, Brittany immediately responded with “Papago Park!!”

This place is special to her, to them.

Brittany hikes here. She finds it a place of peace, and serenity. In fact, one of their first dates was to hike here.

Scheldon knew that the beauty of the park, their history of one of their first dates being here, and the fact that Brittany loves it so much, it was the perfect place to propose to her!

The day came, and he realized on the way to their hike, that he FORGOT THE RING at home. So he made a quick stop at a gas station and bought a gummy candy, that could serve as a ring. Because, he was proposing to her, NO MATTER WHAT.

He had a speech written out…

But when it came down to it, he forgot all the words, and just spoke from the heart. Brittany said “YES!”, and he slipped a gummy ring on her finger!

She said it shocked her, because she was expecting to feel a shiny, pretty, ring on her hand, but felt a gummy instead! Scheldon told her that her gorgeous ring was safe at home, and all about how he forgot it, due to all the nerves of the day!

This Arizona Engagement Session was so dreamy.

Brittany looked like a desert goddess in her sequined dress, and Scheoldon looked dapper in his suit! The colors went so beautifully with the scenery around them.

The light was dreamy, and encircling them with a golden glow. It seemed to hang in the sky giving us the perfect amount of dripping, golden goodness the whole session.

Besides giving me all the feels, I also got to see the real RING. Guys, it is GORGEOUS, and definitely worth the wait!

I am so excited to be a part of Brittany and Scheldon’s Fall Wedding next October!

Their love is so fun, and a little bit of fire too 😉
