Northern Arizona Family Session | Arizona Portrait Photographer

Few things are more beautiful than Flagstaff, in the summer… but to be honest, I think Sharina stole the show during her family’s session in Northern Arizona!

Sharina, Nick and Luca walked on to location looking expertly styled, and coordinated to perfection. Like, really, every photographers dream! Sharina wore a dusty blue, light and airy dress from Lulus, and I fell in love! She looked absolutely stunning! Her boys were sharply dressed and looking handsome as ever!

They also came prepared. Toy trucks are what Luca is into, and there may be a few photo’s where they made an appearance! I love when toddlers have strong personalities, and I love highlighting this time in their live’s too. Sharina and Nick will look back at these images and remember just how Luca was at this age, what he loved, and how sweet his personality is!

They also brought their sweet pup, Mayple! I can’t say enough what an expert poser their sweet girl was! She looked at the camera, and even appeared to be smiling!

Luca took a little extra convincing to get his giggles, but luckily, his grandma and grandpa came along for the shoot, and were such amazing assistants, playing peek-a-boo behind the camera, and just being silly, loving grandparents! Maybe I should hire them for all my future sessions 😉

Another perk of having grandma and grandpa around, is that we were able to capture some really sweet images of just Sharina and Nick, and the love they share. Once parenthood begins, we often forget about how it all started, and definitely don’t get tons of images of just mom and dad like before we were mom’s and dad’s. I totally get it, because I’m in this life stage too. I really cherish capturing a little glimpse of my client’s love stories, as it is, right now. The seasons of life change, but once life isn’t so busy raising little humans, it will all come back to where it began. The two of you, and the love you share.
