Intimate Venue at the Grove Wedding

Lynn+Jose had the most gorgeous, intimate, fall Wedding at Phoenix Arizona’s Lush Wedding Venue Location, Venue at the Grove. Nestled in the Pecan Groves, Lynn and Jose recited their hand written vows in front of only their closest friends and immediate family. A truly intimate wedding.

Lynn chose a timeless and classic look for her romantic wedding day by Chanel of Chanel Molleo Beauty. We started their day with a Starbucks for the Bride, while she was pampered in Chanel’s home studio. We gushed over her amazing fall florals with soft tones by Flowers by Jodi. No detail was unthought of for Lynn and Jose’s wedding day. When we arrived to the gorgeous Venue at the Grove, we headed to the bridal suite to find all of Lynn+Jose’s Wedding Details. Lynn was so relaxed and really enjoying her morning chatting with us as we photographed her details, and getting into her stunning lace gown by David’s Bridal. We put on her finishing touches, and got ready for the big moment- Lynn+Jose’s First Look!

We found a lush little corner on the property, hidden away from view. Jose stood nervously awaiting his bride. His hands tapping his sides as he waited to hear her say his name. Lynn approached with grace and beauty, softly calling out his name. When he turned around there was nothing but immense joy and smiles from both of them! Jose immediately walked to his bride and took her in his arms, smiling the entire time. It was the sweetest moment to witness! They took a few moments together to whisper together, take each other in, and share a few pre wedding  celebratory kisses. I just love watching couples interact during their first look. We will never know what they are giggling over, and talking about, and that might just be my favorite part of all.

Bride and Groom portraits were a dream. The light was so beautiful, the lush gardens gave us some shade and a backdrop that is rare to find in Arizona. Jose was so sweet during portraits, taking in how beautiful his bride was, you could just feel how much they love each other, and how excited they were to marry their best friend, soon!

It was time to sneak them away to the Groom’s room as guests arrived. A few moments of rest, relaxation, and alone time before the ceremony began. The ceremony space was strikingly beautiful, with large pecan tree’s overlapping, and blush colored drapery on the altar added a touch of romance.

With their closest friends and family watching, Jose took his place at the altar- but not before giving his son’s some love on the way up the aisle, a proud dad and soon to be Husband. The boys were beaming and it was endearing to watch!

Lynn was escorted through the garden doors and up the aisle by her Brother, whom was chosen to stand by her side and give her away to the man of her dreams. Lynn shared with me that he looks so much like her father, it was heartwarming to see their relationship, and I could just feel the sense of knowing from Lynn, that she knew her dad was there- watching his baby girl become a wife. She shared with me that she had plans to visit his place of rest after the ceremony, in her wedding dress, and I have no doubt, that she was the most beautiful vision he had ever seen.

Lynn+Jose’s family didn’t choose sides in the ceremony seating. It was so nice to see their family mingle together, as one. There were beautiful moments as Lynn and Jose read their hand written vows to one another. Lynn’s Brother looking on, beaming with pride. Her mom, watching the beauty before her. Jose’s mom had a sweet smile, and a tear in her eye, holding her husbands hand. These little moments all had a hand in making this intimate wedding one I will never forget.

After the Ceremony, Lynn and Jose had a touching Champagne Toast with their guests! They all gathered under the Grove, and cheers’ed to Lynn+Jose’s forever!

Husband and Wife portraits were such a blast. We could just feel the excitement and joy, and it was evident in the photo’s too. Jose had the biggest smile, Lynn looked amazing, and they were so natural, so in love, it had us smiling behind the camera the entire day! Photo’s with family was a true testament of how much fun their family is. They intermingled, they laughed, and we celebrated Lynn and Jose between each photo. A particularly touching moment that got my mama heart; Jose and his mom. She was so happy and proud, you could see it in her face when she was standing with her son, and then the emotion of the day overcame her.. she started to tear up, giving Jose a hug. He squeezed her tight, with all his love. It melted every mother’s heart there, as we can all imagine this day with our own children. Lynn looked on with love, watching him celebrate becoming a husband with the woman who helped shape the man she said forever yes to.

A note to Lynn and Jose,

I can not even begin to tell you how full my heart is from your wedding day. I am beyond blessed to have been even a small part of your love story. Every tiny detail was thought out and executed so beautifully. Lynn, you were such a clam and joyful bride. Not a moment came and went that you didn’t fully take in, and savor. Jose, you are such a wonderful match to Lynn. You make her feel whole, you look at her with so much love, every single person can feel it. Watching your boy’s during your vows to one another, and as you two kissed your first kiss as Husband and Wife was enchanting. It was hard to look away from any of the moments during your intimate wedding day. I pray that you two have a long, joy filled, and loving marriage. I will always be here cheering you on, and celebrating your wins through the seasons of life! Thank you for choosing me to celebrate your day with you!
