A Whimsical Woodland Maternity Session, in Flagstaff Arizona was the perfect Destination Maternity Session!

Not too far from Phoenix, and a great place to have a “Babymoon” before their sweet second baby arrives! Kasie and Joe are not finding out the gender of their second baby! They didn’t find out with their first born either. Sweet Scarlett was the happiest toddler I have ever seen at a photo shoot! Especially being in a new location, outside, in the middle of Winter!

It was such an honor photographing their growing family! I was blessed to photograph their first maternity session as well! When Scarlett was still a sweet little bump! Joe had a feeling she would be a girl, and he was totally right! I won’t spoil what he thinks this baby is, but I can’t wait to hear if he is right again!!

Kasie was stunning in her deep jewel tone green gown! It accentuated her gorgeous motherhood curves in the best way possible!

Joe looked on as I took these solo photo’s of Kasie, as he held their daughter Scarlett, and whispered to her- “Look at your mommy, she’s so beautiful”

CUE THE TEARS GUYS. GOSH!

I just love being there for moments like this. A husband in awe of his wife. The beauty she holds as she grows their baby.

This season of growing another within, is fleeting. Seeing your first born as the only child for a few moments longer. Hugging her tight, giving her all the kisses as she sits on your sweet bump, like it was made for her. Dancing in the forest, letting her explore. Having a few moments to snuggle with your husband, and just be. Soak in the beauty around you and celebrate the life within. That’s what I want for all my Maternity Session clients. To feel all the feels of this experience. + I’ll be there, clicking away silently. So that you have these moments to look back on. To sit with BOTH your babies in your laps. Their slobbery fingers smudging the pictures as you flip through them and tell them how much mommy+daddy love them.

Thank you so much for adventuring with me into the mountains to capture your Maternity Session! I had so much fun with you guy’s exploring! It was a true pleasure to see Scarlett playing and giggling and picking flowers. She has grown to be such a joyous little girl. And I know that’s because of her parents. The way you two love one another is setting the best example for your babies. They’re so loved! I am so excited for you to become a family of four in a few short weeks! Kasie, you are beyond stunning. Seeing the way Joe looks at you, and talks to Scarlett about you. It’s just so heartwarming! Baby C is so lucky to be joining the love! I can’t wait to hear the news that he or she is here!!!
