A Creekside Anniversary Session | Arizona Elopement Photographer

Nestled in the outskirts of Phoenix, Arizona is a flowing creek, surrounded by towering tree’s- a truly magical oasis; and the perfect place for Ashlyn+Keith’s Anniversary Session!

Ashlyn + Keith have been married 10 years this April! They have built such a beautiful life together in their ten years! They have two adorable children, Khylin and Mason, that came along to celebrate with their parents!

Ashlyn wanted a background that was different than the “usual”  Arizona look for their Anniversary session.

I had been wanting to photograph and explore this creek area for a while, so I was thrilled when they agreed to have their session here! I just love when clients trust me to photograph at a location that I have never been to before!

I know it’s hard not to know what a place is going to look like on camera before you go. Will your photographer be able to find the best spot? Pretty light? Will your outfits go with the background?

When I’m a client, I wonder all those things, too. So I do my best to assure my clients that their location will be gorgeous, I will always find the glowy light, and assist with outfit planning through my complimentary style guide; which I send all my clients!

Ashlyn+Keith totally killed it on their outfits! Neutral, with pops of spring vibes! Flowy dresses for the girls, dapper suspenders and casually fashionable for the boys!

We had so much fun exploring this magical wonderland. It was hard to believe we were truly in Arizona!

The rush of the creek water, birds chirping overhead, the breeze rustling through the leaves of the trees. We all felt the peace and serenity. Adding in their kiddos giggles as they made sand castles and chased each other, it was perfect.
