McKenze and Devyn took the editorial, sleek, and swanky vibe to a new level for their Downtown Phoenix Maternity Session. With a minimalistic backdrop, a form fitted black dress and pumps adorning her baby bump, and her man dressed in a casual suit; all I could think about when I opened their gallery to edit was:

VIBE.

McKenze is a whole Vibe of her own. Sexy. Sleek. Feminine.

I absolutely loved creating art with her for her Maternity session! It is so fun to celebrate women as they grow a new life. Celebrate the changes your body is making, and celebrate that it is sexy. Coming into Motherhood with the knowledge that your body is amazing, your feminism is at a stunning peak; I love that she wanted to highlight that with a very minimal, sleek backdrop.

For the second half of their session, McKenze and Devyn wanted a fun, artsy feel. We explored areas in downtown Phoenix where local artists display their work on the sides of the buildings of Roosevelt Row!

When scouting for their session, I absolutely fell in love with a gorgeous wall, painted with cacti and vivid colors! McKenze wore a beautiful, flowy dress that went perfectly with the ambience. With this dress she wore adorable heels, that she also wore on their Wedding day! How cute is that?!

McKenze and Devyn are expecting their little boy this Summer! I had the absolute honor of photographing their announcement photo’s for this sweet baby, and now their Maternity session! I am SO looking forward to photographing their newborn lifestyle session after his arrival!

It has been such a joy watching McKenze through the stages of Pregnancy, she only gets more beautiful as time goes on! Seeing her and Devyn’s flirty love during their Maternity session was so sweet. I can’t wait to see how their love grows as they become new parents, soon!
