Sultry Scottsdale Maternity Session | Nicole

If there was ever a vision of a glowing, motherhood goddess, Nicole is certainly it. Her Scottsdale, Arizona Desert Maternity session was filled with warm light streaming in around the raw boulders, and towering saguaros. She radiated organic beauty, amplified by the soft desert landscape.

Not only was Nicole absolutely stunning, her session was so good for my creative soul. We met up with a group of local female photographer’s that I absolutely adore, both as people, and for their amazing creative work. We had so much fun together photographing Nicole!

Nicole and her Husband are expecting their first baby, a girl, this summer! I am so excited for them! Becoming a mother for the first time is an experience that is indescribable. I can not wait for her to feel the love, to know her strength, and to experience the miracle of life!

As a birth worker, when I am photographing Maternity sessions, I feel in my element. I LOVE working with expectant mama’s. It’s a passion of mine that I believe was gifted to me from above. The power of a woman never ceases to amaze me. The strength while growing a precious baby. Experiencing labor. Birth. It’s all just so magical.

Seeing Mothers at their Maternity sessions is just a sweet, captivating glimpse into their life ahead. It’s this miraculous season, where so much transformation takes place. Not only as their baby grows within, but also as she grows into a mother. Birth is not the end of this beautiful reformation. She will grow and learn so much more as she mother’s her baby. Maybe it’s because I am in the same season of life (mothering young children), or maybe it’s because I am called to serve these amazing women, but either way- When I look at Nicole I see not only beauty. I see strength. I see a piece of heaven, here on earth for all to get a glimpse of the radiating love within. I see a mother. A delicate, but fierce woman.  I see her love, pouring into her sweet little baby bump. I see it in her eyes, the way she gently and soothingly walks, touches a hand to her bump, as if to say to her baby girl- I’m here, I love you, I can’t wait to meet you.
