A Mesa, Arizona Maternity and Family Session | Emma Lou

Emma Lou and her family vacationed to Mesa, Arizona, and while here, we captured their joint Family and Maternity Session! Emma Lou is expecting their second baby, and it was such a joy to see them all together, celebrating their growing family! I couldn’t think of a better place than the desert scenery, and jaw dropping views of the Superstition Mountains for their Arizona session!

Some of my favorite images from multigenerational family sessions are the sweet connections of the littlest family members, to their grandparents and aunts and uncles! Zander was a huge fan of his Grandpa, and it was just darling to see them together! ( I have a sneaking suspicion that Grandpa is a huge fan of Zander, too 😉 )

Photo sessions with a large group, and two year old’s may seem a little wild; but that’s truly the beauty of this season of life! Two year old’s are always so fun at sessions. You have to really find creative ways to keep their attention and make sure they are having fun! For Zander, this happened to be finding special rocks! He was so precious, smiling for a quick picture, and so excited when he got a special rock just after the photo! He also loved to look at the back of the camera, and even take a few snaps of his beautiful mama, with his baby brother growing in her belly.

I got to learn a little about their family during the session, too. How they run a family owned business, heartfelt creations. It was so inspiring to hear some of their story and the love and hard work behind a family owned business! Plus, as another entrepreneur, it is really fun to meet another, feel the community that we aren’t alone, and cheer them on on their journey!
