There won’t be enough words to describe how very special her maternity session is to me. The desert grasslands of Arizona, Fall in the air, and the beauty of seeing her so happy and glowing. She is joy, and light, always; and especially as she grows her sweet baby boy.

Haley is so dear to me. Once upon, what feels like a life-time ago, we worked together on a very busy Labor and Delivery unit as nurses. A sisterhood, you understand, if you’ve been there before. She worked so hard, and advanced her career, and I shifted to out of hospital work. The beauty of social media- getting to see your friends live their lives from afar, and cheer them on as they grow. Well, what a GIFT, to see her again in person. To celebrate her baby boy. To freeze these moments in time, forever as memories. To see the joy in her eyes, and give her a warm hug. Just. So. Good.

She had a beautiful vision for her Maternity session… this was her first time ever getting professional Maternity Photo’s done; and she totally nailed it! She wanted Fall colors. Tall grass. Warmth. Love. And goodness, she is all of that and more here. Especially the warm glow. That is radiating from her.

There are so many little pieces to her session that I will hold dear. One of which, was her adorable daughter Ava wanting to join. Giving her mama’s belly kisses and snuggles. And watching the session unfolding before her eyes beside me. Always with a huge smile on her face, and telling her mom how beautiful she is. That sweet love, between a mom and her child, brought tears to my eyes as they snuggled. Just being their genuine selves, it was truly so beautiful.

The authentic moments between a mama and dad of this sweet baby boy was another favorite part of their session. Their joy, laughs, and ability to just be still and soak it in. It’s like I wasn’t even there; they were in their own bubble of bliss, enjoying this season together!

Haley+Jacob, thank you so much for the true honor of photographing your Maternity Session. You are glowing with joy and love! I am so excited for this sweet baby boy of yours, and all your life’s adventures! I hope when you look back on these images for years to come, with your darling boy in your lap, you see the love that surrounds him, and you! xx
