The towering Boulders in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert were the perfect backdrop for Shaayna and Taylor’s Maternity Session. The most beautiful mix of mother nature in the most raw form. A mother, growing a new life, adored by her husband, and the native nature of the desert.

These two were such a joy to work with! No strangers to adventure- they got married and did some seriously amazing hiking in Sedona for their Wedding Photo’s, in the rain; so when we ventured out for a mild hike, during the last little bit of her pregnancy- it was easy for them! We even had a little run in, with a not so little rattle snake! They kept their cool, while I, did not 😉 After the adventure of Arizona’s native desert dwellers, we had an absolutely gorgeous time out in nature!

The skies showed rain, but held off during our session time, and even gave us that iconic dreamy glow the desert is known for. Shaayna was glowing too, and it was so sweet to see the way Taylor looked at her throughout the session, in awe of the beauty of his wife!

As the session came to an end, Arizona gave us the most beautiful sunset. With the clouds, the towering saguaros, and these two- it was truly a sight to see. They climbed up on some of the boulders and soaked it all in. The scenery. The feelings of anticipation for their baby. The love they share.

I am forever grateful that I get to witness these moments, and memories for amazing people like them! I am so excited for the two of them to enter their new roles as mom and dad, soon! Thank you for the honor of photographing your Maternity Session!
