Mickie and Zach’s Flagstaff Forest Snowy Maternity Photo Session. A picturesque, dreamy Winter Wonderland.
As we arrived to Northern Arizona, there was a light dusting of snow already on the ground, and the skies looked like they’d snow a little more while we were there! Lucky for us, we got a soft dusting of snow during her session, and at the end we even got some sunshine!
Their first little love, had an absolute blast making snowballs and throwing them at mom and dad beside me, giggling and just full of Joy! The epitome of a cute toddler boy, in his boots and cute outfit; between snuggling on his mama, and giving her kisses, he also explored the woods, gathered snowballs, and trudged through the mud. He was an absolute cutie, and made me laugh with his sweet and fiery spirit!
Knowing this little guy since he, too, was a baby bump- it’s been so fun to watch him grow into the little boy he is now, as he is preparing to be a big brother. I had the immense honor to photograph his birth story, and I hope to make it in time for baby number two as well!
They are waiting until the birth to find out this sweet little one’s gender, and I can’t wait to celebrate with them when they find out!
What a true gift to get to photograph both of Mickie and Zach’s babies as bumps! It is so much fun getting to see families as they grow! Seeing a mom and dad transform with the birth of their first, and navigate life as parents, and now to welcome their second baby, soon! These two are amazing parents, and I cannot wait to see them thrive as a family of four!

Doesn’t she look like a glowing goddess, even while it’s actively snowing around her. The beauty of a mama, never fails to amaze me.
