10 Year Anniversary at The Boojum Tree, Phoenix, Arizona.

Katie + BJ said “I do”, at the Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona ten years ago! For their ten year anniversary photography session, they decided they wanted to take their sweet family back to where it all began!

In their ten years of marriage, they’ve shared so much love! They brought their three adorable children to their session with them! They had such a wonderful time reminiscing on their wedding day. We recreated images from her Wedding day that Katie took with her bridesmaids, with her daughters! How cute is that?! We wandered around the lush gardens and stopped and took pictures at all the places they have Wedding day photo’s taken and hanging on their walls; recreating their legacy of love with their babies!

Katie had a heart touching request at the end of their session to have a photo taken with BJ and their son on a cute little bench. Not just any bench..but the bench she has an image of her father sitting on as he’s getting ready to walk his daughter down the aisle. To give her away to the new man in her life, to cherish her forever. Her father is no longer with us, but the memories they have will never fade. What a true honor to photograph such special moments. I am forever thankful!

I love that Katie+BJ came up with this idea of having their Anniversary Photo’s done at their Wedding Venue! The Boojum Tree Hidden Garden’s does not disappoint. It is full of hidden gems, gorgeous glowing light, and perfectly imperfect spaces of beauty. Bringing it back to where it all began…Thank you two for choosing me to photograph your sweet family, and precious memories here! I had so much fun hearing about your Wedding day, and seeing how far you’ve come in ten short years!
