A Warm+ Natural, Arizona Lakeside Maternity Session | Aubry

Aubry’s Maternity Session was full of warmth; the natural tones of the raw boulders mixed with the calming waters and serene views of the Lake were dreamy.

February in Arizona is much more like Spring, than it is like Winter. We had the warm sun shining on us, a slight breeze giving the most beautiful movement to Aubry’s hair and dresses. The geese and ducks swam peacefully by, giving their sweet little guy, Braxton, some fun entertainment!

Aubry looked absolutely stunning! She chose two gorgeous dresses for the first half of her session, and borrowed a sweet and simple, white lace gown from my client closet for her third outfit! Her boy’s were so sweet, adorning her with kisses and hugs! Braxton was being such a good sport, checking out the geese, playing with his dad, Ryan, and exploring on the boulders! Pausing every now and again, as young boys do, to check in with his mama and give her a kiss or two!

As the sun set, and we turned from Golden hour to “blue hour”, the most beautiful full moon emerged in the skyline. Aubry was out on the gorgeous boulders, when it came up on the Horizon, and it truly took my breath away. The night could not have been more beautiful!

Sometimes, I think Mother Nature blesses us at Maternity Sessions. It’s like she shows up with some incredible scenery, just when you thought things could not get prettier. Shining her light on a fellow Mother.
