Intimate Arizona Estate Wedding | The Richards

They were married in her hometown of Peoria, Arizona with an Intimate Private Estate Wedding, with glowing desert light all around them, and the people they love most. Kaitlyn and Gage met by chance, when he picked up overtime shift at the gym they both worked at. Kaitlyn said they’ve been inseparable ever since! He proposed to her in his hometown in Michigan. It was Christmas time, her favorite time of year. On a walk with twinkling lights and all the romantic ambiance, he asked her to spend the rest of their lives together!

Many of their guests were family that came in to town from Michigan! They spent their Wedding week enjoying company, and soaking in all the moments! Their Wedding day was filled with so much love and intention. Kaitlyn got ready upstairs, in the home she grew up in. With her mother, and soon to be mother-in-love, by her side! She sweetly peeked out the windows to see the ceremony space all set up, and how their plans and dreams were coming to life! Kaitlyn wanted a really touching first look with her dad and brother, just before the ceremony. They waited for Kaitlyn to tell them to turn around, and her dad had the biggest tear filled smile on his face! They all hugged and laughed, and wiped happy tears from their eyes! It was so sweet to see her dad give her the biggest hug, as her mama looked on. I could just imagine how they felt, seeing their daughter in her gorgeous Wedding dress… in a place at their home that they spent so much time watching her grow into the woman she is now.

Kaitlyn and Gage decided that they didn’t want to see each other on their Wedding day, until she was walking down the aisle. And oh my goodness, cue the tears, because Gage’s reaction when he saw her was such a beautiful and emotional moment! When they locked eyes, they both began to cry. Gage’s mother in the first row could be seen with tears in her eyes, too, as she watched her Son and Soon to be Daughter.

They held hands, teary eyed, as they recited their handwritten vows. Promises of forever, of love, and of gratitude for one another. There were tears in their loved ones eyes as they watched and listened. When they were officially announced as Husband and Wife, Gage sweetly placed his hands on Kaitlyn’s cheeks and pulled her in for a kiss! Their guests cheered with so much love!

With the warm, glowing, Arizona sunset surrounding them, we took their Husband and Wife portraits out in the desert near her family home. A space I imagine they can go for years to come to remember their Wedding day, with their future family. The dreamy desert light, and beautiful wildflowers encompassed them as they shared some kisses, and soaked in some time together, officially as Husband and Wife! Their fun loving personalities made their way into their portraits as well, as they ran, and kissed, and laughed! Their Joy was undeniable!

“I will never stop losing my breath, Every time I see you looking back at me”

Arriving back at their family Estate they enjoyed a grand welcoming, and their first dance! Their song “Never Stop” was so beautiful, and such a wonderful picture of their love for one another.

They both shared a dance with their parents; she danced with her dad, as they smiled and laughed, he, with tears in his eyes. Her mom looking on with tears in hers, too. Gage danced with his mom, and he sweetly rested his head on her shoulder. I certainly had tears in my eyes watching the love they have for their parents!

After dining alfresco under the Sunset, their best man and maid of honor gave them a toast! They laughed and cheered as they heard stories from their past, and how much each of their family and friends loves their relationship!

Their gorgeous Cake, by Lets Kiss and Cake up, was set up under the stars for their cake cutting! Gage sweetly fed Kaitlyn a taste, after which, she politely smashed some in his face! They shared a sweet, cake filled kiss! They mingled with guests, embracing loved one’s and soaking in the moments of their Wedding day!

We ended our night of celebration of the newlyweds with a super fun sparkler exit!

Thank you so much for inviting us to celebrate your love! We had SO much fun, and truly felt like we were with family all day! Your love for one another is so sweet, and your day was filled with so many intentional and sentimental moments. From the deeply thought out family and vendor gifts, the “something old”, the bouquet you made with your grandmother, the guests you chose to invite; it was truly a beautiful celebration of love!!
