North Scottsdale Desert Engagement Session

Kristen and Ken’s Scottsdale Desert Engagement session was full of dreamy sunset light, stunning saguaros and beautiful views. They met in 2017 while Kristen was in Pharmacy school, and rotated through Ken’s clinic. They told me their Engagement story and it sounds like a dream! They were on a secluded beach in Hawaii.. Ken likes to explore video with his drone, and told Kristen he needed her to look out at the ocean so he could focus the drone and it get it started. While she was turned away he got the drone going, and the ring box ready. When she turned back around he proposed, AND caught it all on drone video!! What an epic and truly thoughtful, dreamy proposal! She, of course, said Yes!

For their Engagement session they chose a desert backdrop in the always stunning Scottsdale, Arizona. There were towering saguaros, large boulders, and warm desert light surrounding them. Kristen looked absolutely beautiful in her navy maxi dress that fit her perfectly. It was flowy, and added that touch of movement that I just love in photographs.

Ken chose an absolutely jaw dropping Ring for Kristen to wear forever! While they changed outfits I was able to get some detail photo’s of her ring with the beautiful touches of mother nature surrounding us. For their second outfit Kristen wore a short and flowy white dress, and Ken wore a more formal button down with slacks, both of them looking SO good as the sun dropped behind them, embracing them in the soft glow the desert is known for.

During their session I got a feel for their love, in person. They are so relaxed and care-free together. They truly have fun together, and it was so sweet to see their smiles and soft laughter as they celebrated their love!

Their Wedding is set for next Fall in the always stunning Sedona, Arizona. They plan to be married at L’Auberge de Sedona overlooking the red rocks, with their loved ones surrounding them! They already have such an amazing Vendor team lined up to help make their dream day a reality, and I cannot wait to work with them!
