A Glamorous Scottsdale Maternity Session | Jerica

Jerica’s Maternity Session was SO special for me to photograph…

When she was pregnant with her first, Solmarah, I was blessed to photograph her Maternity Session, and now she’s growing up so beautifully, and a happy big sister! I was also there to photograph Sage’s lifestyle newborn session, once they welcomed her to the world! I’ve gotten to know these sweet girls as time as passed, during mommy+me mini sessions, and Fall Mini’s with the whole family! Having a client relationship spanning across YEARS is truly the best. I get to know the kid’s personalities, and watch Jerica grow in her Motherhood journey.

Speaking of Motherhood; it was such a blessing to watch Jerica as she gracefully and patiently loved her on her daughters during her Maternity session! She wanted something with an open desert feel, and she wanted to wear a gorgeous gown! She found the perfect burgundy, glamorous dress from Desert Gowns, and it was STUNNING! I love the way it caught the light when the warm sun was surrounding them. It had so much movement as all the girls twirled and danced in the desert, picking grass bouquets, and giggling!

When the sun began to set, the deep burgundy color was so rich, and gave a pop off the desert backdrop! The girls were so cute, exploring the trails and watching their mommy looking like a princess! They really gave her SO much love, with squeezes and kisses!

I loved listening to Jerica’s birth plans. I always feel so refreshed after talking with her. She has this way about her, you’d know if you’ve met her. She has a calm-ness, knowing that her mothering decisions are just right, for her. I can’t wait to photograph her birth later this month. She plans to birth at home with an amazing midwifery team, her girls, husband, and family by her side. I can already envision the calm, loving atmosphere that will be!

Jerica, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your growing family, again! There truly are no words to describe how thankful I am to have the honor of photographing so many memories for you! You are an absolute vision, and I wish all those looking at these images, and reading this, could know you.
